Our big cat, Ace was sitting in my lap tonight and Aiden walked right up to him, pointed and said, "kit-tee" plain as day. Then he patted him (a little too hard, but more appropriate than pulling out 2 hand fulls of fur) on the head and back. Ace is fairly tolerant so he let Aiden pat him-- until he grabbed Ace by the face and almost poked out his eye. All in all I'd say it was a very successful baby-cat interaction.
Aiden wore a new outfit to school today:

He had to play a little ball before school in his "uniform."

The wind-up. Look out because we're still working on the release point.

This was after school with the anti-skid socks Memaw found.

Take the remote and run!
